Midas’ unique features, which include four ears due to a rare genetic mutation, have quickly made her an internet sensation as Dosemeci documents her adventures on Instagram.
Midas’ mutation results in two small ears located in front of the usual set seen on cats. But what’s even more fascinating is that all four of her earlaps are functional! A veterinarian has examined Midas and confirmed that they are all connected to her ear canal. Unfortunately, the genetic mutation has also caused a defective jaw in Midas. However, she lives her life like any other cat, lounging around and playing with her Golden Retriever brothers.
